Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Manager (Commercial Credit & Collections) is responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day activities to ensure optimal cash flow and minimal bad debt. This position requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and direct the department.

  • Manage a team of AR specialists- oversee invoicing, issuing credit/debit memos, collection and cash application activities
  • Develop and implement credit strategies, and work closely with our membership to resolve credit issues.
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliations to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices
  • Prepare and present regular reports on credit and collection activities, including aging reports and DSO analysis.
  • Handle complex or escalated collection issues and negotiate payment terms with customers.
  • Work closely with sales and customer service teams to address credit-related issues and customer disputes.

Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
•Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in credit management, collections, or a related financial role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
•Strong understanding of credit and accounts receivable principles, practices, and regulations.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
•Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
•Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, team members, and senior management.
•Self-motivate, goal-oriented, team player

Skill Set
