Resort Manager (GM)

Regional Manager: Robert Sire
As a resort manager overseeing all functions for an RV resort, your role encompasses a diverse
range of responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation and enjoyable experience for guests.
Here's an outline of what your duties might involve:
1. **Operations Management:** - Supervise day-to-day operations, including reception, housekeeping, and security. - Ensure all facilities and amenities are well-maintained and in working order. - Collaborate with the Director of Maintenance to ensure both sides of the resort are flowing
together efficiently. - Implement and enforce resort policies and procedures. - Oversee reservations and check-in/check-out processes.
2. **Customer Service:** - Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing inquiries, concerns, and
complaints promptly and professionally. (Know when to stand firm and when to be
understanding) - Train staff in customer service best practices and ensure they maintain high standards. - Gather feedback from guests to continually improve services and amenities.
3. **Staff Management:** - Recruit, hire, train(utilize department leads/ managers to do training if you are a large resort),
and manage resort staff, including front desk clerks, housekeepers, and security personnel. - Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage at all times. - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
(These will be every year or if you need to coach a member)
4. **Financial Management:** - Develop and manage the resort budget, including revenue forecasting and expense control.
(Your regional manager will help you establish this) - Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to maximize profitability. (E.O.M
reports will be sent to the regional manager. - Oversee receipts and invoices are properly logged and sent to
Accounting.
- Filing of Employee records, financials, vendors, and any documentation in regards to the
resort. - Onboarding of new employees.
5. **Marketing** - Be able to work with our Events team (coordinators and music managers) in regards to
events and flyers. - Reporting all needed material to the Events team to create promotional materials,
advertisements, and online presence for upcoming events.
6. **Compliance and Safety:** - Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental
regulations. - Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures, conducting regular drills and training
sessions. (fire, tornado, flooding, etc.) - Maintain proper documentation and records related to permits, licenses, and inspections.
7. **Continuous Improvement:** - Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to RV
resorts. - Learn and keep updated in our booking software, email threads, and community pages to
help with guest experiences, staff expectations and experiences, and to be helpful in any
situation. - Regularly assess operations and seek feedback to identify areas for improvement.

for guests and staff while ensuring the success and profitability of the RV resort.
