Lighthouse Lab Services is partnering with a respected healthcare organization in Westchester, NY that is currently seeking a Project Manager to support and oversee critical initiatives within its laboratory operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to play a key role in the coordination and execution of a major laboratory relocation and modernization effort.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience within a healthcare or laboratory setting and thrive in environments requiring cross-functional collaboration and logistical coordination.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Lead and manage laboratory-related projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and goals are met.
Coordinate the relocation and setup of laboratory equipment in partnership with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Collaborate closely with lab leadership, construction teams, and vendors to ensure the successful design and layout of new lab spaces.
Review and interpret architectural blueprints and floor plans to facilitate efficient lab workflows.
Track project milestones, create detailed reports, and communicate updates to senior management.
Identify and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
Promote a collaborative, solutions-focused environment across interdisciplinary teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of project management experience in a healthcare, clinical laboratory, or regulated environment.
Experience with laboratory relocations, renovations, or capital equipment installations strongly preferred.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and floor plans.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $110,000 – $120,000 , depending on experience
